The Pure Naçional trees that grow the cacao used in our chocolate have the distinction of being the oldest, rarest, and most sought after in the world. So rare in fact, that they were thought to be extinct by the early 20th century, wiped out by disease.
The happenstance discovery in the remote Marañón Canyon of Peru by Dan Pearson and Brian Horsley would eventually lead the founding of Fortunato No. 4 and the reintroduction of the world to this exquisite tasting chocolate.
Mix this 8 ounce bag of lovely hot chocolate with 32 ounces of liquid....milk or water depending on your preference.
Bring the liquid to a light boil and spoon in the hot chocolate to taste. This bag also includes 1 ounce of our favorite, premium vegan marshmallows.
This is the exact mix that we use to make hot chocolate from scratch in our chocolate shop and it is made with real chocolate instead of cocoa powder like most hot chocolate.
