Fortunato Dark Chocolate Raisins

A sophisticated take on a classic.

Here is a higher quality version of one of everybody's favorite childhood treats!

Growing up, we all remember eating raisinets. They were great because they had chewy, dark stone fruit flavored raisin filling on the inside. On the outside, you had the milk sweetness of the milk chocolate.

We've upgraded this for a more adult audience.

On the inside, we are using plump, organically grown raisins. On the outside we are using our award winning 68% Fortunato No. 4 dark chocolate. This gives you the great taste and texture that you remember with significantly less sugar. The high quality raisins and dark chocolate make this a sophisticated take on a childhood favorite.

Our chocolate is heavy metal free. Visit https://fortunatochocolate.com/pages/faq to see our testing results.

From our family business to you, enjoy!

Fortunato Chocolate is known for its rich fruit and nutty flavors, floral aroma, smooth texture, and lack of bitterness.

The Pure Naçional trees that grow the cacao used in our chocolate have the distinction of being the oldest, rarest, and most sought after in the world. So rare in fact, that they were thought to be extinct by the early 20th century, wiped out by disease. The happenstance discovery in a remote valley of the northern Peruvian jungle by Dan Pearson and Brian Horsley would eventually lead the founding of Fortunato No. 4 and the reintroduction of the world to this exquisite tasting chocolate.

All of our confections are made by hand in our chocolate kitchen in Issaquah, WA.

The amount of chocolate we have available for the general public is in limited supply due to demand from pastry chefs and chocolatiers. If you are a chocolate lover, don't hesitate!

Our chocolate is heavy metal free. Visit https://fortunatochocolate.com/pages/faq to see our testing results.

Everything I have ordered -- from the chocolate raisins (they will be great with morning cereal), s'mores, the marshmallow cookies and more -- I have thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely a return customer!

These chocolate covered raisins are truly the best I have ever tasted. The dark chocolate is wonderful and I can taste the raisins which are so good! When you think of a normal chocolate covered raisin what you usually get is a lot of chocolate and you can't really taste raisin because there is so much chocolate covering them. These are absolutely perfect because they are lightly covered in chocolate and the raisins are plump and most of them of large....I love them!

    Not your movie-treat "raisinettes"!

I love these chocolates made with organic raisins! They aren't shiny like the commercial boxed non-equivalent. These are flavorful plump raisins embedded in a dusty dark chocolate covering. You aren't going to want to eat them watching a movie either--but rather, mindfully, enjoying each moment, flavor, texture, while telling yourself after all, raisins are in one of the 5 major food groups! (fruit. The 5th group of course is chocolate). And half a pound is enough to share, if i have to... This purchase I brought to a memorial celebrating the life of a beloved photographer and former Dead Head, where the catering crew poured them into little cups I'd brought for people to use (post Covid era...). Which was too bad, since I wanted folks to see the packaging. The chocolates disappeared from the desserts table swiftly. I admit to subscribing for a regular delivery...
