One of the best parts about being a small family business is that nobody can tell us what we can and can't do!


And dang it, we wanted to make the perfect mug for hot drinks, be it hot chocolate, coffee, tea, or whatever else you might like. 

We looked at a lot of samples and thought about it for a while until we came across what we felt was the perfect design. 

This is not just something we sell. All of the people working for the company have several of these in their houses because it is truly an excellent mug.

It is the perfect weight. We feel like a mug should have some heft to it. It should have a presence. 

The wooden handle fits just right in your hand.

We love the wooden lid. If you need to run to the bathroom or the stove to stir something you are cooking, just put the lid on it and your drink will stay hot. 

The mug also comes with a nice mixing spoon.

This mug is awesome! It holds at least 14 oz if not 16. The handle takes some getting used to. But the spoon and cover are really great and I love it for steeping tea. Holds in all that valuable steam

Family Fortunato Mugs

Purchased one of each color for myself, my Son and my Daughter. We LOVE them! They both say that these are their favorite mugs ever and use them for everything. I reserve mine for Fortunato Hot Chocolate and fine tea. The wooden lid helps retain heat and that is my favorite aspect of these spectacular mugs.

Great choice of mug colors

Excellent quality mug. They are beautifully crafted and have great color choices. The hot chocolate 🍫 is out of this world. Last time I had hot chocolate this Excellent was in Switzerland.

I Love My Mugs!

When I first saw the mugs on your webpage I instantly fell in love and I also instantly knew I had found the perfect birthday gift for my hard to buy for daughter! I love finding her unique things that I know will be “just right” and make her smile! I paired her coffee mug with a bag of your dark chocolate squares with nibs. I also knew she would love the back story of Fortunato Number 4 so I printed the story about finding number 4 and included that in the gift bag as well. It was a big hit and I got some big smiles. My daughter recently had surgery and part of the recovery includes not speaking for 2 weeks. She has an app she can type into and a robotic voice speaks her message. The robot told me several times “I Like, I like.” Of course I bought a mug for myself as well, along with a ton of goodies I’m TRYING to keep back for a Christmas Eve Chococuterie Board! After reading Chocolate Adam’s story about the Almond Roca, of course I had to place an additional order for 2 bags of toffee (my favorite) along with a few other items! Now that my family will be introduced to Fortunato Number 4 chocolate you might have to consider upping your production to keep up with our orders!! 😉
