Hot Weather Shipping Information
Thank you so much for your interest in our Chocolate! For environmental reasons, we no longer use warm weather packaging. Thermal packaging requires paper, plastic, metallic bubble wrap, and plastic/chemical gel packs, which end up in landfills and are not biodegradable. We refuse to do that to the planet, so please note that From April to October our 100% money back guarantee does not apply to weather damaged chocolate. We will continue to use USPS two-day shipping, so our products arrive as quickly as possible, and we'll always package your order to avoid breakage. But if the products melt in transit, we can’t offer replacement or refunds. Please consider carefully before ordering -- by placing your order, you consent and assume all risk for heat damaged products. Thank you for understanding and honoring our commitment to the environment.

The amount of chocolate we have available for the general public is in limited supply due to demand from pastry chefs and chocolatiers.
If you are a chocolate lover, don't hesitate! Get a bar or two today before we run out. Don't forget that these 1.1 pound bars actually cost less, ounce for ounce, than a mid-level bar from the grocery store.
Each Fortunato No. 4 chocolate bar weighs 1.1 pounds with 5 connected 3.5-ounce bars. Once limited to elite chocolatiers, our organically grown USDA certified Pure Naçional chocolate bars are now available to the public at wholesale cost! Fortunato Chocolate is known for its rich flavor, floral aroma, smooth texture and lack of bitterness.
The Pure Naçional trees that the cacao pods are harvested have the distinction of being the oldest, rarest and most sought after in the world. So rare in fact, that they were thought to be extinct by the early 20th century, wiped out by disease. The happenstance discovery in the remote Marañón Canyon of Peru by Dan Pearson and Brian Horsley would eventually lead the founding of Fortunato No. 4 and the reintroduction of the world to this exquisite tasting chocolate.
- Cacao and Cocoa Butter - 36%
- Milk and Cream Butter - 26.91%
