Great!!

I got the 47% milk chocolate.
Taste was full and creamy. No bitterness. An excellent chocolate.

Surprise, surprise

I know that darker chocolate is "healthier" but I love milk chocolate for its taste and texture. Well, I ordered bars of Fortunato #4 36% milk chocolate and bars of the 47% and 68% in order to compare. I started with the 36% and found it delightful. Smooth, but not overly creamy, it melts easily in the mouth revealing its chocolate flavor. My reaction was that it is "lighter" than the chocolates I usually prefer. The surprise came tasting the 47% dark MILK chocolate. I put milk in caps because it didn't register on me when I tasted it. It's a richer taste compared to the 36% without any bitterness that I could discern. The smoothness was the same and the chocolate taste was more robust. Surprise!

The 68% bar is milk free and that's noticeable. But there was no harsh/bitter taste. It will serve for our vegan friends and for us when we want chocolate but without any milk ingredients.

Thank you for the opportunity to eat Fortunato chocolate and expand my preferences.

My Thoughts...

The Dark Milk chocolate was perfect for y taste.
It wasn't too sweet nor too bitter.
It is a great eating dark chocolate.
Ienjoy knowing that this comes from a family owned cocoa farm.
I will order again and the milk chocolate bar too.

Same same.

Certainly nothin more than your average bar of chocolate. Sure it's huge and comes with a lot of chocolate but it tastes nothing more than your store bought candy bar.
